The Method

After years of research, work with expects, and self-trial, I formed Bespoke Body to shape my body the way I desired. Age had caught up with me, and I was looking for healthy muscle tone and strength as well as improved metabolism.

I found that the best way to achieve this was through razor focus on nutrition and a combination of cardio and movement exercises that would sustain a healthy, injury free body. The two elements of nutrition and proper form in exercise combined were the key to success.

My program developed out of the need to travel with small equipment that was effective hence I use a lot of small resistance equipment to deliver big results. Cardio needed to be done in a hotel room with limited clear space, often with only thirty minutes. My dance cardio is simple yet gets the heart rate up and muscles firing in targeted ways.

 

Tailoring to You

Everyone’s genetic makeup is different, and my unique nutrition methodology is research based. I designed a thought provoking questionnaire, which is intended to give you to a better understanding of your own body and food history. My objective is after our initial consultation we can determine your personal nutrition goals, as well as a viable work out regime to meet your physical and environmental needs.

I want the power to be in the individual’s hands. We can each feel empowered by our bodies, the fuel we decide to give it, and the exercise we want to provide for it. I have researched countless methods of exercise and diet and will help support you to find the best way to nourish your body to make this a journey of strength.

When I was starting out it did not seem to matter what training I did; traditional old school methodology left me with an injured over trained body or completely disinterested and unhealthy. One thing was clear: I had to detrain my over-developed muscle groups and muscular imbalances. I started training for core strength, stability and lean muscle. I incorporated yoga, Pilates, and classical ballet with various small equipment. The trampoline, small weights, resistance bands, gliders and straps are all amazing tools to sculpt a lean, strong physique.

The Program

My results-driven program is based on performing specific exercises with high repetitions using complementary muscle groups. I prefer to target the core stabilizers, thus activating the smaller supporting muscles. We have 640 muscles in the human body…the beauty can be found in developing some of these intricate muscles that move us through a healthy life. Developing a well-balanced, stable and flexible body does wonders to calm the mind and bring focus on the whole self. It sounds cliché, but this is how I found amazing structure and clarity in other areas of my life. This completed my discovery and development of the entire three prong system.

I have developed manuals for different diets you may choose that pull together research for you. It takes the guess work out of the internet. With subscription you will receive a self-assessment to find a new nutritional plan, a getting started guide, personal tips, the basics, food categories, ways to stay motivated, shopping list, and a page of personal resources and links.

Exercise and fitness

Mindset and motivation

You must commit, that is the key, I believe in the power of small group training, get a few friends with similar goals, take advantage of the custom workout with personal attention with the benefit of friends motivating you, tailoring workouts are done in group fitness with modification for various muscle targets and injuries and small group training has an increased ability to tailor. Personal training is full customization for a plan in and out of the studio. The most rewarding part of this work is the client transformations.
